If I had heard this song when I was writing my dissertation on graffiti in high school, I probably would have cited it as a source. The audio clip mixed into the song describes the deliberate exclusivity of their written language, giving them a sense of community despite remaining relatively anonymous as artists. “It’s for us,” the writer states.
