Kllo demonstrate many diverse sides of contemporary electronica in the lead up to their debut record, Backwater. “Virtue” is fueled by a high octane beats, while “Nylon” is a heart wrenching, electro-tinged piano ballad. “Downfall” is a happy midpoint, though is not inferior to the prior two by any stretch.
