Merrill Garbus has been pretty busy lately, and not for projects that are called tUnE-yArDs. She’s been busy behind the scenes as a producer for A Man Alive by Thao & the Get-Down Stay-Down, and soon we will hear the new Sonny and the Sunsets record, Moods Baby Moods, out in May. Her signature weirdness permeates both, evidenced by Sonny’s first single “Well But Strangely Hung Man.”
