Ninja Tune recently uploaded Mr. Scruff’s back-catalogue, including the not-so-coincidentally named mixtape, Ninja Tuna. When I heard “Nice Up the Function” for the first time in a handful of years (at least!), it brought back some funky memories, all lacking context.
