Lower Dens is a reliably erratic band. Its danceable indie pop sound has propelled the act for the past nine years, and now the Baltimore-based artist is gearing up for another album release; The Competition is his latest effort, due out September 6th on Ribbon. New single “I Drive” is just as fun as any of his previous releases but pleas for rationality in the one subject that will never make sense: love.
