Sentient Fruit Experiences Melancholy in New Clip from Paul Cherry

This clip is comprised of an amalgamation of several different animation styles, from crayon to pencil to paint, with plenty of textures underneath each as well. The result is a technicolor journey with a sentient cherry. The clip was directed and created by animator Jake Armstrong, and he really captures Cherewick’s dependence on cigarettes and general melancholy. The track is more than just a vessel for some disgruntled heartbreak though.
