Kitty put out an incredible mixtape back in August, and has just graced us with a new video for “Mass Text Booty Call,” one of the wildest tracks on it. The opening of the video is a parody of the intro to Fatboy Slim’s 1998 single “The Rockefeller Skank,” which actually comes at the very end of the previous track on You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby, “Right Here, Right Now.” Also, ~obligatory mention of the Yoshi sample in MTBC~
Kitty’s track isn’t ‘90s techno-rock, but actually is a modern pop song done right. The whole record is a boundary-pushing exploration of future beats, pick it up on Bandcamp.
