It’s beauty unending and tender feels forever on UK songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist NOVO AMOR’s gorgeous dream folk song, Anchor, for which he’s released an incredible video today. Anchor is the sort of Bon Iver and James Vincent McMorrow like breathtaking music that cuts straight into the heart. Let it absorb you into its sadness and its pastoral earnestness. I’m left feeling like I need to visit Scandinavia or Iceland on my own so I could reflect on all of life’s sorrows as I stare off into the distance or into the roiling, unmercifully powerful sea.
