Last month I tried to summarize all the reasons to feel moved by Via Intercom’s late 2017 LP, Buzz Buzz Buzz Vertigo, but after the article was written, I couldn’t help but feel that I had left so much out. Overall, I still believe that it is one of the best records about youth that I have ever felt I personally could relate to. “The Photographer” is an early track on the album, but it does a fantastic job setting up stories and emotional cues; funnily enough, the lyric video for it seems to be set in another part of the album altogether: Jonny’s dollhouse. Immerse yourself in their warped nostalgia and buy the album on Bandcamp.
